Before the sperm test

Before performing the test, it is important that the quantity and quality of sperm are as high as possible. Therefore, abstaining from sexual activity 3 to 7 days before the test has a significant impact on the result.

Contents of the Sperm Test Kit

Our sperm test kit contains the following items:

Instructions

• Remove test cassette from packaging and place horizontally on a flat surface.
• Collect the semen sample by masturbation in the enclosed collection vessel.
• Wait 60 minutes for the semen sample to completely liquefy.
• Use the sperm transfer device and fill it with the semen sample up to the 0.1 ml mark.
• Add the semen sample to the supplied sample dilution buffer.
• Mix the semen sample and the test solution by inverting the bottle 5-10 times.
• Hold the sample tube vertically and open the lid.
• Add 2 full drops of the diluted sample (approx. 80 μl) into the sample well (S) of the test cassette and start the timer.
• Avoid air bubbles in the sample well. Read the test result after 5 minutes.
• Do not read the result until after 10 minutes.
